On February 24, I was walking down the street when a stray dog grabbed my hand. Her eyes were begging for help and I knew I couldn’t just pass by. This encounter made me realize the dire situation in my country, Ukraine.
The governmental authorities of the Russian Federation declared war against our country. As a result, many families have left the country leaving their pets behind on the streets. These innocent animals are now struggling to survive in the middle of war-torn cities.
But my team and I refuse to give up on these furry friends. We continue to feed them and rescue as many animals as we can. Our new channel “Stray Furry Friends” is dedicated to raising awareness about the plight of these animals.
