On November 1st, a couple who recently purchased an old house stumbled upon a dog that appeared to have been confined for some time. The poor pup was malnourished and had bony protrusions that could potentially puncture its skin. Concerned for the animal’s health, Marisa – who runs Coraço100dono – took the dog to a veterinarian for a check-up. Despite the realtor’s claim that the previous owner did not have any pets, Marisa and her companion suspect that someone must have abandoned the dog in the locked house since he had no way of escaping. It wasn’t until they arrived that Valentine finally received the care and attention he desperately needed.
The young boy managed to survive for many weeks on nothing but rainwater despite being infested with fleas and parasites, which are still visible on him today. However, his eyes reflect his strong will to live. Marisa, the kind-hearted rescuer, welcomed Valentine back into her shelter the next day. His tale quickly spread across social media platforms. Upon receiving a meal, Valentine eagerly devoured it, and Marisa took him out for a much-needed stroll. Since his rescue, Valentine has gained a kilogram in weight and can now walk and play normally with his canine friends. While he still has some way to go, he can finally rest in a warm bed.
